Smart Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Portal (SMART ODR)
SEBI has vide its Circular No. SEBI/HO/OIAE/OIAE_IAD-1/P/CIR/2023/131 dated July 31, 2023 read with Circular No. SEBI/HO/OIAE/OIAE_IAD-1/P/CIR/2023/135 dated August 04, 2023 extended the scope of existing dispute resolution mechanism to Investors and Listed Companies/Specified Intermediaries/Regulated Entities under the aegis of Stock Exchanges and Depositories by establishing a common Online Dispute Resolution Portal (“ODR Portal”) which harnesses online conciliation and online arbitration for resolution of disputes arising in the Indian Securities Market. Further, SEBI vide its Circular No. SEBI/HO/OIAE/IGRD/CIR/P/2023/156 dated September 20, 2023 has facilitated linking of SEBI Complaint Redressal (SCORES) Platform to the Online Dispute Resolution platform.
