Grievance Redressal Mechanism
In accordance with the provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), Transrail has established a transparent and time-bound Grievance Redressal Mechanism to address any concerns, complaints, or grievances relating to the processing of User;s personal data.
Filing a Grievance
If User has any concern or complaint regarding the collection, storage, processing, or disclosure of their personal information, they may submit a grievance in writing by email or post to the Grievance Officer using the contact details provided below.
User’s grievance should clearly state:
- User full name and contact details (email ID, phone number, and postal address);
- A clear description of the grievance or concern; and
- Supporting documents or evidence, if any.
Process of Resolution
- Acknowledgement:
We will acknowledge receipt of your grievance within 24 (twenty-four) hours of receipt. - Review and Investigation:
The Grievance Officer will review User’s complaint, verify relevant records, and may seek additional details, if necessary. An internal investigation shall be conducted in an impartial and confidential manner. - Resolution:
A final response shall be provided to User within 7 (seven) working days from the date of receipt of the grievance, in compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023. - Escalation:
If User is not satisfied with the response received, User may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India, established under the DPDP Act, 2023, for further redressal.
